Katie & Phil

Milling Barn
Buntingford

I recently had the pleasure of shooting this wedding at Milling Barn for the amazing couple, Katie and Phil. Autumn weddings are TOTALLY my thing and this one was pure magic! Katie and Phil totally nailed the autumn vibes, thanks in part to the mind-blowing floral creations by Rose and Carter – seriously, those flowers were next level. The day was a riot of reds, bronze, mustard, and gold, with the bridesmaids' dresses fitting the palette perfectly. Katie looked like an absolute queen in her Evie Young dress from Lotte Rose Bridal, and her Makeup by Rachel and Hollywood curls by Styles by Becky were on point. It was obvious that every little detail had been thought of, from the vintage typewriter guestbook from The White Emporium to the scrumptious cake from Henlow Baking Company and all the vintage touches from The Ampthill Antiques Emporium. But what really made this wedding special was Katie and Phil's hearts of gold. Not only did I get to witness their "I dos," but I also got to capture all the love and joy!

Personal Highlight

It undoubtedly has to be the 10-piece brass band called Old Dirty Brasstards. I've seen my fair share of wedding bands, but their performance was unlike anything else I've witnessed in a very long time. I couldn't get over their incredible talent and the way they had everyone on the dance floor completely obsessed. I felt truly privileged to watch and listen to them perform!

I had no doubt you’d capture the day well but we are beyond thrilled with these photos. Thank you for everything that day, not just for the photos, but for calming my nerves, tying my wedding shoes and basically becoming an honorary bridesmaid for the day. ”
