A wedding in Hackney Wick.

Carmel + Kev

When an enquiry pops in your inbox with the wedding date being as little as 3 weeks away with the only request from the couple is that they want their wedding to feel “like a club lol” how could we resist!?

Not really knowing what to expect, we arrived at Carmel’s Grandmothers house in Finsbury Park. The home was already filled to the brim with family and friends dashing about getting ready before heading across the road to the church, the very same one her grandparents got married in. After the beautiful ceremony conducted by the brides very own cousin, everyone jumped on the red double decker buses and headed to the reception whilst popping bottles of Prosecco. When we arrived at Studio 9294 based in Hackney Wick it was just as we expected with tonnes of loud graffiti, creative industrial spaces, edgy bars and restaurants lining along the Canal, just the perfect backdrop for a quirky, rave-themed wedding! The couple served up exotic cocktails and the most incredible French cuisine before hitting the decks and performing the first DJ set of the night…it doesn’t get much cooler than that does it?!

We loved shooting in London and can’t get enough! If you have booked the capital for your wedding and still on the hunt for a photographer, then hit us up, we’d love to hear all about your plans!

Thank you so much, these are so great, you are very clever. You’ve caputered everything perfectly, we are very pleased you were able to do it.
